On 27 November 2019, the Build4People researchers and members of the Build4People Scientific Advisory Board met with representatives of Phnom Penh Capital Administration at Phnom Penh City Hall and with representatives of Phnom Penh district (Khan) level to discuss potentials of cooperation.
Thereby, Vannak Seng, General Secretary of Phnom Penh Capital Administration, gave a presentation on Phnom Penh’s urban development and challenges towards achieving more sustainability.
Rolf Messerschmidt, CEO of EMP (Eble Messerschmidt Partner, Architects and Urban Designers PartGmbB) and leader of WP#3 “Sustainable Neighbourhoods”, introduced the Ecocity Transition Lab as a tool to finally develop criteria towards sustainable urban development.
