On 06 March 2024, the German embassy in the Royal Kingdom of Cambodia invited representatives from international donor organisations to a luncheon at the renowned Raffles Hotel in Phnom Penh.
The key aim of this event was to connect these donor organisations with the Build4People project, particularly in regard of the future Implementation Phase scheduled from 2025-2027.
In the presence of leading representatives from Phnom Penh Capital Hall, among them His Excellency Mr. Imran Hassan, Deputy Governor of Phnom Penh, and from Cambodia’s most prestigious developer company, OCIC Group, several Build4People team members introduced about specific transdisciplinary approaches to foster transformative change in urban Cambodia. Furthermore, they presented preliminary ideas how donor organisations could start a collaboration with our project.
This was followed by a brief but constructive Q&A session which also revealed challenges to bring together trans-disciplinary research approaches with donor implementation approaches.
