The Build4People team is happy to announce the agenda with manifold activities of the Build4People project visit in February / March 2024.
During the upcoming days, we will provide with you more detailed information on our events with multiple stakeholders in Phnom Penh, among others, our key implementation partners, the Phnom Penh City Hall (PPCH) and the OCIC Group (OCIC), Cambodia’s probably most renowned developer company. This year, Build4People has formed an innovative alliance between PPCH and OCIC in the context of the upcoming Build4People Ecocity Transition Lab (ECTL) 2024. The focus of the fourth ECTL of our living lab series will be the development of alternative visions for a more sustainable Norea City, a prime waterfront development along Mekong river, located at Chbar Ambov District of Phnom Penh.
Other highlights will be the joint Science Workshop of Build4People Work Package “Behaviour Change” and of Build4People Work Package “Sustainable Urban Transformation” at Royal University of Phnom Penh which will kick-off the campaign “Cambodia’s Green Pioneers”, and a major survey among the urban citizens of Phnom Penh by means of a so-called PopUp Kiosk at Norea City. This innovative participatory intervention supported by Build4People project got initiated by the German government funded SMMR project, focusing on sustainable mobility, and will get implemented by Impact Hub Phnom Penh.
