On 09 December 2021, the Build4People special edition of the Architectural Guide Phnom Penh got disseminated among representatives of the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP), the most important research partner of the Build4People project.
All in all, 30 copies got distributed, 20 of them to the Hun Sen Library and the rest to the President of the Royal University of Phnom Penh, the Vice-President and director of the research department of RUPP and to the Build4People research partners from various departments.
The hand-over was thankfully organized by Dr Sok Serey, vice-director of the research department of RUPP.
The dissemination of the Architectural Guide Phnom Penh in Khmer language (published by Moritz Henning and Walter Koditek) shall contribute to awareness rising and to capacity building by spreading of knowledge of climate-adapted vernacular architecture, contemporary green buildings, architectural heritage and sustainable urban planning to a wide audience.
In the context of the Build4People project 200 complimentary copies of the special edition of the Architectural Guide Phnom Penh will get distributed among among local multipliers, e.g. lecturers, professionals and staff of various administrative levels of Phnom Penh Capital Administration.
