On 28 May 2024, the Build4People research partner Se Bunleng from the Department of Geography and Land Management, Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) gave a presentation during the first Khmer Earth Observation Day 2024 at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia, Phnom Penh.
It was based on a paper with the title “The Role of Urban Climate Map in Phnom Penh’s Future Development Plan, Cambodia” with Se Bunleng Se as first author, and Daniel Choi, Net Yav, Janalisa Hahne, Chandary Rang, Sebastian Kupski, Chhinh Nyda Chhinh and Lutz Katzschner as co-authors.
All German co-authors belong to the Institute for Climate and Energy Concepts (INKEK GmbH), Lohfelden, Germany, which is representing Build4People Work Package #5 “Urban Climate”. Bunleng Se, Nyda Chhinh and Daniel Choi are the local research partners of this work package.
